Brook Green Family House

A former bedsit, completely overhauled to function as a five bedroom family home across three floors. The client’s brief was ‘relaxed, playful, timeless and colourful’ which could grow as they grew as a family. Working closely with the client, Architect Studio Mcloed, and lighting Designer Studio Stileman, we formed a totally new layout which incorporated every functional requirement but with a playful twist.

Cambridge New Build

This newly constructed Edwardian-style family home in the heart of Cambridge combines traditional aesthetics with modern functionality. We worked closely with the client to create beautiful, soft, layered and importantly functional interiors. We designed and drew a lot of the interior architecture within the house, the panelling in the hallway and cloakroom, the joinery in the playroom, study and kitchen. The client’s brief was paired back muted tones, but an injection of beautiful antiques and lighting.

Notting Hill Apartment

I worked closely with this young couple and contractor to update this 2 bedroom flat to a 3 bedroom; to reconfigure the floor plan to function for their growing family. Despite the property being stripped of most original features, we reinstated the fireplace, cornicing, electrical layout and full height panelling in the narrow and dark entrance hall. A new kitchen / dining layout allowed for a more relaxed and social space, while also allowing storage within the new banquette bench. The clients owned beautiful art and antique pieces already, which we breathed some new life into with fresh upholstery, and careful repositioning.
